Skin Health EMEA Healthcare Professional Lead

Location: UK, Ireland and Switzerland based candidates considered

Working mode: Remote

Travel: 5% (to key congresses) 

Duration: Contract initially running until the end of 2025 with a strong chance of a contract extension

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

We are looking for talent to join the regional EMEA Skin Health team as a Skin Health  Professional Lead.  

The Healthcare Professional Lead will be primarily responsible for regional conference  strategy & execution. The person will strategically shape and manage the HCP  conference lifecycle end to end including planning, coordinating, and executing  conferences across EMEA, closely partnering with the global team ensuring activating  global strategy while catering for regional needs as well as closely working with the  markets incl. Marketing, influence, HCP, commercial team acting as a single point of  contact ensuring the event is maximized & deliver with excellence. The person will  leverage global conference capabilities and tackle any challenges that arise with poise  and efficiency. 

The Healthcare Professional Lead will also be responsible for translating healthcare  professional global strategy and toolkits into regional deployment & activation plan. 

roles and responsibilities

Conference lead (70%) 

Strategic Planning & operational lead: Partner with Global HCP & Regional team to  shape regional congress strategy & lead execution end to end. This includes booth 

design and experience planning, scientific agenda, HCP & influencer engagement plan,  sampling plan, advertising and activation support, logistics management 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with key cross-functional teams, including  marketing, sales, HCP engagement, influence team, compliance, global, and customer  support, to enhance event impact.  
  • Agency Management: Closely work with agencies to plan the event in detail &  manage them. This includes overseeing all aspects of event management including staff  planning, venue oversight, catering, transportation, technology, and on-site execution.  Ensure that all logistical details are meticulously planned and executed, while dealing  with last-minute changes or problems. Act as a key agency point of contact within the  team. 
  • Vendor Management: Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers,  and partners to negotiate contracts and ensure quality services that meet budgetary  constraints. 
  • Budget Management: Monitors and manages regional congress activity budget 
  • Performance Analytics: Implement post-event analytics to evaluate success, identify  lessons learned, and derive best practices. Use data to drive efficiencies and improve  future event strategies. 
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and  organizational policies at all events while providing a safe environment for all attendees. 

Regional Healthcare lead (30%) 

HCP strategy & toolkit regionalisation: Liaise with Global HCP lead to translate  Global strategy and toolkit into regional deployment & activation plans. 

o Includes communications strategy, media and activation plans, regional  portfolio go-to-market with HCPs 

o Adapt and deploy Global toolkit assets to ensure regional fit for maximized  utilization by EMEA markets 

o Act as EMEA key point of contact & HCP partner with commercial team  

how to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Business management, Digital marketing, Event Management or  a related field preferred. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in conference and event management 
  • Experience in beauty industry is preferred 
  • Experience working in matrixed organisation  
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale conferences and events with  a strategic mindset. 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and  meet tight deadlines. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen ability to build  relationships and influence across teams 
  • Ability to constructively challenge the status quo by surfacing opportunities for  improvement and sharing ideas for new approaches. 
  • Self-starter able to function independently with limited work direction and escalates as  appropriate, with the ability to multi-task. 
  • Strong verbal, written & presentation skills. 
  • Experience with agency management (briefing, feedback, execution & budget  management)
