Contract Benefits Manager - Policy Review Project
Location: Fully remote - UK - We are accepting UK applications only
Duration: 6 months
Hours: 37 per week
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Benefits Manager to join our Total Rewards team on a contract basis. The primary focus of this role will be to conduct a comprehensive review and update of our current employee benefits policies and procedures across EMEA countries. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of benefits legislation, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record in benefits policy development and improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Policy Review and Analysis:
- Conduct a thorough review of all existing employee benefits policies and procedures.
- Identify areas of non-compliance, inefficiency, or potential improvement.
- Analyze current benefits programs to ensure they align with industry best practices and company goals.
- Compliance Assessment:
- Ensure all benefits policies comply with federal, state, and local regulations and laws.
- Stay informed about recent changes in benefits legislation and their impact on our policies.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with HR team members, department heads, and external vendors to gather input and feedback on benefits policies.
- Conduct interviews and surveys to understand employee needs and preferences.
- Policy Development:
- Develop and draft updated benefits policies and procedures.
- Recommend new benefits programs or modifications to existing ones to enhance employee satisfaction and well-being.
- Ensure all policy changes are clearly communicated and documented.
- Implementation Planning:
- Create a detailed implementation plan for new or revised policies.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition and minimal disruption.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare comprehensive reports on the findings of the policy review.
- Document all changes and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
how to succeed
Education: Bachelor’s degree. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience: 8+ years of experience in benefits administration, with a strong focus on policy development and review.
Skills:
- Deep knowledge of benefits legislation and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and HRIS systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
