Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are seeking a Sourcing Manager for a 14 week temp contract to start ASAP. This is a pivotal role within the Commercial function, where you'll be responsible for shaping and executing the sourcing strategy for specific co-manufacturing/co-pack sub-categories. 

 

You'll lead supplier performance and relationship management, ensuring external partners deliver on quality, service, total cost of ownership, sustainability and innovation. This role is critical in leveraging external capabilities to support the long-term growth and innovation agenda, directly contributing to ambitious value creation and sustainability programs.

 

What you'll be doing:

 

• Lead Strategic Sourcing: Develop and deploy multi-year category strategies and roadmaps, overseeing all procurement activities including negotiation, contracting and supplier relationship management
• Drive Value & Efficiency: Ensure competitive pricing, effective price risk management and a robust supplier base capable of continuous improvement, innovation and sustainability
• Collaborate & Align: Partner with cross-functional teams (EMQM, R&D, Marketing, Supply, Finance) to ensure full alignment and delivery of competitive advantage
• Manage Performance & Risk: Define and deliver operating plan targets, monitor performance, and ensure effective risk management across IP, lead times, quality control, and financial dependency
• Champion Sustainability: Lead the implementation of sustainability programs to meet commitments and compliance standards

 

What we're looking for:

 

• Experience: Extensive professional experience, with some experience in a senior category management or similar strategic role, including defining sourcing strategies and influencing stakeholders
• Proven strategic sourcing and category management expertise is essential
