Job Title: Lab Coordinator

Location: Slough

Contract Length: 6 months

Shift Pattern: Sunday - Thursday (no evening work required)

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are seeking a seeking a highly motivated and meticulous individual to join our SLO Micro Lab Team! In this exciting role, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring product excellence through precise sample handling, rigorous testing, and meticulous record-keeping.

What you'll be doing:

 

• Responsible for daily lab operations, including receiving and booking various samples (raw material, finished product, chocolate, in-process, hygiene, R&D, and swab samples) in ATLAS/LIM systems
• Conduct weekly inventory audits
• Scan and distribute worksheets to Eurofins
• Calibrate NIR instruments
• Collect scheduled water and air samples
• Periodically collect allergen and toolbox swabs
• Sort extra finished product and PRIMP samples weekly
• Regularly input results into Excel
• Maintain Mars lab standards, including cleanliness
• Adhere to quality and safety procedures
• Work proactively and unsupervised on weekends
• Ensure all tasks are completed correctly and on time, adhering to break schedules
