Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently seeking an Technical Administrator on behalf of a leading health company.

Job purpose:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Administrator to join the established team in Worcester on a 6+ month contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and varied work environment, and the successful candidate will help to contribute hands-on support with all essential daily operational administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of Administration contact within the workshop
  • Co-ordinating new equipment deliveries, loans, returns and repairs
  • Spares ordering/receipt/acceptance and stock control
  • Managing the stock levels using Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system
  • Liaising with external suppliers to arrange repairs/service of medical equipment
  • Supporting stock audits and updating stock levels within the IT systems
  • Assisting with full annual equipment inventory and audits and also with all associated internal/external audits
  • Organising and updating technical service manuals - both hard and soft copies
  • Completing electrical safety testing and some routine device checks
  • When required, assisting in the evaluation and communication of safety bulletins and clinical adverse incidents involving medical equipment.
  • Assisting in the evaluation and trials of new medical equipment and updating equipment records in EAM prior to the new equipment going into clinical use

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Experience of working in a busy office/workshop/hospital environment;
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to deal with customers and staff at levels;
  • A good degree of computer literacy and knowledge as it relates to Office software and bespoke service management packages
  • Must be able to work with people of diverse cultural background.
  • Ideally experience of working with medical or other high-end technology
