Job purpose:
⦁ We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Global Management Accountant to join the Global team on a 12-month contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to drive, change and lead the Siemens Energy transformation

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

⦁ Responsibility for Controlling, Reporting and Forecasting of the worldwide HQ functions of Siemens Energy
⦁ Provide business partnering expertise to the Corporate Functions for which you are responsible, through active relationship building and pro-active analysis to support strategic decision making
⦁ Working with the FPA Function and Governance teams, drive forward the digitalization and standardization of the reporting tools used, ensuring consistency and accuracy across the Corporate Functions
⦁ Pro-actively support the performance management of the supported corporate functions and stakeholders with financial performance and the transparency and correctness of the reported key figures
⦁ Independently analysing the planning and forecast of the financials of the respective Corporate Functions and interpret the deviations
⦁ Joint analysis of comments and explanations from the respective function and responsibility for the annual preparation of the budget for your Corporate functions
⦁ Preparation of ad hoc reports, analysis, profitability, or productivity calculations
⦁ Taking ownership / leading projects to drive the performance of the Function controlling team

 

 

 

Qualifications/Experience:
⦁ Accounting qualification essential
⦁ Bachelor or master’s degree in business administration, economics, or business informatics desirable
⦁ Proven experience in Financial Controlling of Corporate or Support Functions with a profound knowledge of reporting guidelines and processes
⦁ Proficiency in reporting tools and processes, preferably SAP, ESPRIT, Microsoft Office and Think Cell. Experience of Tableau, SAC and Qlik would be an advantage.
⦁ Experience in business partnering and working closely with stakeholders of all levels
⦁ Strong analytical skills, results orientated with high quality standards and the ability to prepare management presentations
⦁ Open-mindedness and communication skills, the ability to work in a team as well as intercultural experience
⦁ High degree of initiative, high quality standards and results-oriented work
⦁ Entrepreneurial mindset and eager to drive transformation
⦁ Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
⦁ Excellent English skills, German is a plus
