Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for a Source to Contract Regional Process Owner to work for a global brand covering more than 55 countries who serve the nutrition and health market.
The Role:
The Source to Contract (S2C) Regional Process Owner (RPO) –role is responsible for translating and driving the implementation of the global strategy for the S2C process within the region with the goal of realizing efficiencies, higher accuracy and enhanced controls. In this capacity, the RPO will help translate as required the enterprise-wide standards for the process for the region; implement, measure & analyse the KPIs for the process; and drive the transformational agenda within the region to realize stated goals. This role will represent the Global Process Organization on all process, technology & delivery model (captive, outsourcing, location) related projects / initiatives as it relates to the Source to Contract cycle within the region, ensuring that all key stakeholders & decision makers across Procurement, Finance, and Segments, as well as across downstream functions like Requisition to Receipt and Invoice to Pay, are appropriately engaged.
- Work under the direction of the Global Process Owner to support the deployment of the S2C transformation agenda within the region.
- You will be expected to have / develop strong subject matter expertise in S2C and have a good understanding of the needs/requirements of the business units within the region.
- You will need to demonstrate critical thought leadership, excellent communication skills and strong project management discipline.
- In this role you will need to interact and collaborate effectively across Global Services Procurement and Global Services Finance, but also with Global Services Digital Technologies, Corporate Controllership, Regional Business Units, and other stakeholders in delivering the S2C transformation agenda.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the deployment of the global S2C strategy within the region, understanding and translating any local/ regional requirements to shape how the strategy gets adopted
- Influence regional leaders (e.g., CFOs, Procurement Leaders) to drive adoption and compliance to change across the organisation
- Support the GPO in understanding external leading practices / benchmarks and help develop the process transformation roadmap for the region
- Drive the implementation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within the region
- Represent the GPO organization and region on all S2C process standardization projects/initiatives – identifying where customizations would be required
- Support the GPO in maintaining/updating the process and control standards (PACS) documentation for S2C; define and maintain control standards in region
- Lead / Represent the GPO in developing and/or validating the business case that supports the implementation of S2C transformation projects including innovation, digital and automation (bolt on tools, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning layers and end to end process re-engineering) within the region
- Accountable for ensuring the delivery of the stated business case within the region
- Collaborate and provide inputs, and participate in related initiatives as it relates to S2C within the region
Key Skills and experience required:
- Experienced in Source to Pay and process optimization experience
- Experience in a shared services environment
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Ability to work with regional counterparts and global process leader to ensure process standardization across the organisation
- Demonstrated project management acumen
- Ability to identify, solution and deploy transformation projects
- Work collaboratively with operations teams to optimize processes
- Understanding of regional level nuances
- Good exposure to Source to Pay technologies like Ariba
- Proficiency in English language
- Undergraduate degree in any discipline (preferably in Finance, logistics, supply chain)
- Lean six sigma certification will be preferred
- Highly collaborative with executive presence, change leadership and influencing skills
- Digital Savvy and exposure to latest trends in RPA, automation, and AI
Essential Experience:
- Technology in sourcing, building out a sourcing centre of excellence
- Needs someone who has experience in managing Tail Spend and reducing level of tail spend which is a pain point
- The successful candidate will be dealing with fragmented, low value tail spend so they must be comfortable with having dealt with this in previous roles
