Location/remote: Bradford (Hybrid, 3-5 days per week on-site)

Contract length: 9 months (opportunity for a contract extension)

Pay rate: £14.50-£15/per hour

Job Content:

The Supply Chain Coordinator role will build up robust relationships with external stakeholders predominantly to support the client in meeting and exceeding our combined supply chain KPIs. The job holder will be highly proactive in identifying and resolving issues and informing all required stakeholders across the two businesses. In doing this, we will build a mutually beneficial relationship with the client which will allow us to unlock sales potential for both businesses as well as pave the way for future collaborative opportunities and become a supply chain partner of choice for the customer.

The Supply Chain is increasingly becoming a value driver as we strive to;

  • Increase our customer centricity and alignment with our customers metrics
  • Increase on shelf availability beyond current levels
  • Drive additional sales through more effective promotional execution
  • Strengthen our customer service through management of our products in our customers supply chains
  • Optimize physical flow of the network to drive down costs
  • Reduce transactional and obsolescence costs
  • Reduce raw materials and finished goods inventories along entire value chain
  • Improve asset utilization of resources
  • Increase our responsiveness to Customer requests and decision-making speed

Background Experience & Qualifications:

HND/degree in Business Studies or other related subject, or relevant business experience.

  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills – able to create and evaluate data in spreadsheet format
  • Able to work well in team environments and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Clear thinker, good communicator and needs to have structured and pro-active style of working - able to prioritise and multitask
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of Supply Chain principles, product distribution and on shelf availability would be a key attribute

Knowledge/Experience: 

  • Microsoft office knowledge, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • An understanding of retailers (preferred, not required)
  • Basic supply chain / logistics experience
