Location: Farringdon

Hybrid/Remote: 2-3 days a week in initial weeks for training, then mostly remote with monthly office visits after training

Contract length: 6 months

Rate: £18 to £25 ph PAYE depending on experience - Inside IR25  


Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator to work for a US leading brand of protein bars founded by the world’s leading confectionery manufacturer. 

The Role:

The protein bar brand is now set up for international expansion and is looked after by this team. Suppliers produce the product, then ship to the UK and the Netherlands. 

You will be working within this small team, which has a really big remit.
This job supports post production, manufacturing into hubs. They indirectly ship into over 30 markets globally.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound and outbound shipments and stock at the National hub.
  • Manage inbound shipments to the National hub, ensuring timely and efficient handling.
  • Coordinate day-to-day logistics partners and transportation requirements.
  • Handle customs inquiries and requirements for import and export (Certificate of Origin, Product Authorization).
  • Address coman invoice queries related to logistics and shipping.
  • Generate sleeping pallets reporting for the Supply Chain Management and Reporting (SCMR) cycle.
  • Collaborate with the supply team to manage and respond to market inquiries for stock availability in Veghel and OOS risks
  • Provide support in managing product tariff classification, including setup and recipe changes.
  • Other cross functional tasks to support team, including holiday and sick cover, data review and maintenance.

 

Key Skills and experience required:

 

  • Experience of Supply Chain operations
  • Have a good understanding of the movement of goods
  • Considerations include market demand and managing risk, and proactively responding 
  • Proactive approach to make sure markets are in stock.
  • Have advanced skills, typically gained through a combination of job-related training/education and considerable work experience
  • May act as a lead, coordinating the work of others
  • Works autonomously within established procedures and practices

 

Essential Experience:

 

  • End to end supply chain experience
  • Must have experience of using an ERP system - any ERP is fine 
  • Must be able to use Excel to a good level 
  • You need to be an excellent communicator, especially with colleagues in the team 

 

Desirable experience:

 

  • SAP
  • Ideally you’ll be able to do Sumifs, vlookups and pivots within Excel
