Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Data Analyst on behalf of a global manufacturing company. This is an initial 6 Month contract starting asap, with the potential to extend. This position is fully remote.
The successful Data Analyst will join the Team and help support the European and Global facilities lead. This position is an excellent opportunity to help support Global and European projects, liaising with key internal stakeholders. The Data Analyst position requires a high level of Excel, including formatting, Pivot tables, and Graphical data. SAP PM (plant maintenance) reporting experience is also a desired requirement for this position.
Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collect, process, and analyse data from SAP PM and other sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel (including pivot tables, macros, and advanced formulas).
Generate actionable insights to support maintenance operations, asset reliability, and efficiency improvements.
Reformatting of large data
SAP PM System Management:
Perform data entry, updates, and validation within SAP PM modules.
Monitor system performance and ensure the accuracy and consistency of data in SAP PM.
Assist in configuring SAP PM workflows and customising reports.
Process Optimisation:
Work with maintenance and operations teams to identify inefficiencies and recommend data-driven solutions.
Support the development of predictive maintenance models by analysing historical maintenance data.
Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data handling and reporting.
Working on large scale Global and European projects and understanding the importance of project deadlines/ milestones
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with cross-functional teams to align maintenance priorities and data management practices.
Work with key internal stakeholders to ensure that the data is managed to company best practice
Serve as a liaison between IT, maintenance, and operations teams for system updates or troubleshooting.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and data governance protocols.
Conduct regular audits of SAP PM and Excel reports to maintain data integrity.
Key Skills/ Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Technical Expertise:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and data visualisation).
Strong knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM) modules and processes.
Experience with other data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus but not essential
Experience:
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Hands-on experience with SAP PM and large datasets.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key stakeholder management/ capability of visualising data story telling to senior members.
