Location: Hybrid - Poole (1-2 days pw)

Contract length: 7-8 months, to September

Rate: £13.20ph PAYE - Inside IR35  


Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for 3 Administrators to work for a brand name leading technology company. 

There are 3 roles available across 3 teams; each team is looking for an administrator.

HR Ops team:  you could be on phones taking calls, you could also pick up cases and respond to customers.
To work in this team you will need Admin experience either in a call centre or shared service. 

Onboarding team: more admin, drafting up contracts, liaising with TA (no calls involved in your duties).
This team needs someone with admin experience within change or process improvement.  

Payroll team:  this role is more about calculations, doing financial / payroll admin.
This team needs someone with Payroll  Admin or HR Admin experience.  

There can be training between the teams. 

Role Overview:

The role involves working closely with various Stakeholders and Service Providers, both internal and external, influencing GBS system and data strategies.  It requires a flexible approach to a variety of activities, such as contributing to projects and BAU demands, regular annual activity and technical problem solving across systems. 

Responsibilities:

  • Upskill on various topics covering employee lifecycle to include Onboarding, Offboarding, technical support, end to end query handling and payroll processing activities.
  • Provide proactive support to assist the smooth running of the service line ensuring customer service excellence is at the forefront of all that you do.
  • Be responsible for your own workload as well as that of the team by taking ownership of case work and tasks
  • Maintain process documentation and review regularly
  • Seek ways to improve both yourself and process activity and champion various topics whether BAU or project related
  • Support colleagues and promote a one team mentality
  • Analyse and resolve technical system queries and/or error reports
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Team Leader/Manager from time to time.
  • Participate in training activities including programmes to support use of new technologies
  • Input to/identify operational efficiencies related to the GBS systems and processes

 

Key Skills and experience required:

 

  • Understanding of varying business needs across different global cultures
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office applications: Word; Excel; Outlook
  • Experience with Workday HR system and/or other payroll system 
  • Experience of working within Shared Service or Bureau style environment
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines and high-volume processing desirable.
  • Ideally previous payroll experience
  • Knowledge of PAYE, NIC legislation and P11D is preferable
  • Experience of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment would ensure you are prepared for working in a busy team 
  • Understanding of the employee life cycle, HR Administration and payroll processes
  • Flexibility required in terms of working hours and travel may be required
  • A flexible approach in all aspects of the role
  • The ability to take ownership and see things through to resolve



Essential Experience:

  • Admin experience in any one of the following:
    • Admin experience either in a call centre or shared service background 
    • Payroll Admin or HR Admin exp. 
    • Change
    • Process Improvement



Systems:

  • Experience of using Workday would be ideal - otherwise they will give training 
  • MSOffice: Word, Excel, Outlook - preferably to an intermediate level
