Job Title: System Engineer
Location: Lincoln (4 days on site, 1 day remote working)
Contract Length: 6 months initially then rolling contract

What You'll Be Doing
- Strategically design and implement change management activities, evaluate change implications, and formulate robust strategies, including detailed plans
- Identify and mitigate resistance, provide guidance and coaching, and engage stakeholders to secure buy-in at all levels
- Develop and deliver communication and training programs, assess user preparedness, and address gaps, including tailored programs and plans for new tools and software (MS Excel, Tableau, PowerBI)
- Monitor and report on change management issues, define and measure effectiveness, and build/manage teams engaged in change activities
- Communicate effectively with all staff and provide coaching and mentorship during transitions
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, or training roles
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- A proactive and problem-solving approach
- Experience in a service industry is a plus
- Experience with MES / SAP knowledge of routings or how parts move through production processes in a manufacturing facility

This position requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and a deep proficiency in SAP. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning product movement through our facilities and designing efficient routings within SAP to streamline production and enhance supply chain visibility.
What You'll Be Doing
- Product Flow Planning: Develop comprehensive plans for the efficient movement of products through various stages of manufacturing within our facilities
- SAP Routing Design: Design, implement, and optimize routings in SAP to accurately reflect manufacturing processes, including work centers, operations, and resource requirements
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to manufacturing and supply chain processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize lead times.
- SAP Master Data Management: Maintain and update critical SAP master data related to production
- System Configuration & Support: Provide expert support for SAP modules relevant to manufacturing and supply chain (e.g., PP, MM, SD, CO). Troubleshoot issues and ensure system integrity
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, finance, and IT, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of processes.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate reports and perform analysis on production performance, inventory levels, and supply chain metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Training & Documentation: Develop and deliver training to end-users on SAP functionalities and best practices, and maintain comprehensive documentation
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes and logistics
- Extensive hands-on experience with SAP, particularly with modules such as Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Controlling (CO)
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement SAP routings for complex manufacturing operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization
