Contract length: 6 months + extensions
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm or 8:30am - 5:00pm
Rate: £12ph PAYE

The Role:
You will be booking appointments for engineers to visit their customers, who are big brand name companies.
The role consists of inbound calls as well as outbound calls.
You will be speaking with customers to book in the jobs, as well as with the engineers who are attending the appointments. You will also speak with internal customers.
As a Consumer CDI Job Booker, you will be responsible for the arranging of appointments between commercial businesses and the engineers for electrical meter upgrade and maintenance works across our bespoke contracts. This will require you to take ownership of specific booking requirements such as arranging site access, permits, specialist vehicle hires, out of hours appointments and various other exception requirements to ensure successful completion of the works end to end. You will be required to make bookings directly over the phone or via e-mail, providing exceptional customer service and operate various systems to book and schedule appointments efficiently.
You will need to be target driven and well organised to meet contractual KPIs & SLA’s and be flexible to work collaboratively with other teams for example, scheduling and field engineers to achieve successful installations.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively plan and manage electrical metering upgrade appointments and managing the booking requirements i.e., permits, site access, keys 4x4 Vehicle Hires, out of hours.
- Resolve internal and external stakeholder escalations and queries within the specified timescales and SLAs.
- Log and record outcomes of work including asset details and photos.
- Provide on day support to engineers against bookings and queries.
- Ability to work as a team collaboratively.
- Build and maintain relationships within the wider company Operational Services team.
- Service Level Agreements and booking targets adhered to.
- High quality and accurate data entry.
- Ability to adapt to change.
- Organise and prioritise own workload.
- Flexible to support in BAU activities against our bespoke contracts when required.
- Understand and work within the framework of the Company Values
Key Skills and experience required:
- Exceptional customer contact skills both written and verbal.

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
Essential Experience:
- A background in working in call centres
- Strong admin skills
- good phone manner
Desirable experience:
- MS Excel - experience in using Excel would be ideal
