Randstad Sourceright, a provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently seeking an IT Coordinator on behalf of a leading energy company.

 

 

 

Job purpose:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Coordinator to manage IT assets efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, coupled with experience in asset tracking, procurement, and inventory management. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with various teams to ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the procurement, deployment, and retirement of IT assets including hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive asset management policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with asset management protocols.
• Track asset lifecycles, including warranty information, maintenance schedules, and license renewals.
• Ordering new IT equipment and parts/components.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users as needed.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in IT asset management.

Experience:

• Proven experience in IT asset management or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and hardware/software components.
• Familiarity with asset management tools and software, including Windows and iOS.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experienced using SAP Ariba is desirable
