Job title: MRP Controller

Location: Lincoln, LN6 - Hybrid (2 days per week in the office - more in the first couple of weeks for training)

Contract length: 6 month initial contract - Potential to be extended

 

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Material Resource Planning (MRP) Controller on behalf of a global company in the energy industry. This role is flexible with hybrid working - 2 days per week in their Lincoln office, on a 6 month initial contract with potential to be extended.

 

The successful MRP Controller will ideally have a background in the Manufacturing industry (such as Industrial, Aerospace or Automotive) dealing with spare parts as well as previous experience in the use of ERP systems (SAP is advantageous).

 

Responsibilities:

• Raising requisitions on a daily basis - checking across all plants for free stock
• Monitor material availability
• Ensure all materials required are available through focused expediting and any changes required are dealt with promptly
• Support with data and or manage complex decisions with Buyers /Strategic Purchase / Commodity Management
• Maintain data in SAP system
• Work within and adhere to compliance and government mandated processes
• Work with and support planning and forecasting departments for future requirements and optimise inventory levels
• Work with interrelated departments to achieve total cost of ownership

 

 Key Skills / Experience Required:

• Ideally have a general Manufacturing background ( Industrial, Aerospace, Automotive) and experience in dealing with spare parts etc
• Previous experience with ERP systems - SAP is advantageous
• Competent with use of MS Office suite
• Team player
• Able to work on own initiative
• Previous MRP Controller / Scheduler experience is ideal
